    RallyGroup Pty Ltd (ABN 20 208 724 667) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

    2. WHAT WE COLLECT

    2.1 Workers (crew members)

  1. A pseudonymous user ID (not linked to your name or email)
  2. Your daily crew health check-in response (1–7 internal scale; you see a colour bar, not numbers)
  3. The time and date of your check-in
  4. Your device type (for app performance)

    5. We do NOT collect your name, photo, employment details, or any information that could identify you to your employer.

    2.2 Leaders (supervisors/employers)

  5. Name, email address, and organisation details
  6. Team configuration and invite codes
  7. Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
  8. Aggregated anonymous crew check-in data

    9. 3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

    3.1 Worker data is used to

  9. Generate anonymous aggregate trends for your leader's dashboard
  10. Calculate participation rates across your team
  11. Identify roster-linked stress patterns (e.g. end-of-swing dips)
  12. Award streak milestones and merch rewards

    13. We cannot identify you from your check-in data. Your employer cannot identify you from your check-in data. Your mood responses are stored with a pseudonymous ID that cannot be reverse-engineered by Rally, your employer, or any third party.

    3.2 Leader data is used to

  13. Provide access to your team dashboard
  14. Send nightly crew welfare notifications
  15. Generate WHS compliance reports
  16. Process your subscription payment

    17. 4. THE RULE OF 5

    Your leader's dashboard only shows aggregate mood trends when 5 or more workers have checked in within the reporting period. Below this threshold, the dashboard shows "Not enough data."

    This threshold is enforced at the database level, not just the interface. It is not possible to override this protection.

    5. WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

    We use the following third-party services:

  17. Supabase (database and authentication) — Data stored in Australia (Sydney region) — supabase.com/privacy
  18. Stripe (payment processing) — Card details are processed and stored by Stripe, not Rally — stripe.com/privacy
  19. Google Analytics (anonymised usage analytics) — IP anonymisation enabled — policies.google.com/privacy
  20. Sentry (error tracking) — Error reports do not include check-in data or personal information — sentry.io/privacy

    21. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party not listed above.

    6. DATA RETENTION

  21. Worker check-in data is retained for 24 months from the date of collection. After this period it is permanently deleted.
  22. Leader account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation.

    23. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@rallyapp.com.au. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

    7. YOUR RIGHTS (AUSTRALIAN PRIVACY ACT 1988)

    Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles:

    8. DATA BREACHES

    Rally complies with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988. In the event of an eligible data breach, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals within 30 days.

    9. COOKIES

    Rally uses minimal cookies for session authentication only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses anonymised cookies for aggregate usage data.

    29. 11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

    We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of Rally after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
